You're Allowed to Want More: Being a Mom and a Person with Goals

Updated: Apr 22

I love being a mom. I also love my work, my ideas, my dreams. And that doesn’t make me selfish.

A neon sign that says This is the sign you've been looking for mounted on a brick wall. Very dimly lit.
In case you needed a little nudge: this is your sing. Start the thing.

You can love your family deeply and still want something that’s just yours.

You’re allowed to:

  • Want to go back to work (or leave it)

  • Start a business or side hustle

  • Dream of writing a book or running a marathon

  • Block off 20 minutes a day to just think

Motherhood can be a beautiful season, but it doesn’t have to be the whole story. You get to evolve.

So dream big, mama. The world needs what’s in you, too.
